It's been years since I started thinking of lurking my best friends into a huge tent in the mountains, where we would share a dinner and draw together under candle lights. Today it might be that day.

The algorithm cancer

Mainly and honestly because of tiredness of social media companies making all we (makers) do into a product and us (readers, viewers, spectators) into consumers, making them richer because of it. Our attention is now a commodity, every second we spend on socials is become hard $$$ for them, while we all loose in this game. I dream about having my own channel where I can just talk to my club of friends.

It's because of this that I wanted to create my own social network. Something for a happy few where they will be able to support an artist they like and the artist will in exchange be able to pleasure their eyes and hearts. let's all stop looking at undesirable, ugly ads to feed the pockets of rich CEOs and let's enjoy more art.

I am truly tired and disgusted about Instagram and all the other platforms thriving on creators to drive traffic and distraction, making everyone a consumer: maker and spectator. This unbalance is unfair for both parties and has to stop. It's only fair that you pay the artists to see art, as you pay the baker when he gives you a croissant.

Art & stories, delivered to your inbox (or letterbox)

Once a member, you will be kept up to date with new articles, comics and art sent straight to your inbox. The algorithm can die now, we skip it altogether by using the direct link between you and us.

Besides the emails you will get the chance to talk to me directly, we can have coffee (on me) if you come to Tokyo and if you choose for a PHILANTHROPIST plan, I will be sending you physical postcards and original drawings to your home or office.
